Downtime and Resolutions

The server was unavailable this morning between 8am and 9am. It went down during one of our daily backups. The majority of our recent crashes have been due to the backup process overloading the server (zipping and transferring 100,000MB of data). We are looking at a replacement backup system which will hopefully fix these problems. Please do bear with us - whenever the server does down we will have it back up ASAP. We hope to test and implement a new system within 2 weeks - for obvious reasons we need to make sure our (your) backups work properly!
